Our expertise is in claims and safety management, our goal is to provide an employer with the tools to manage from their own resources and to assist them to maximize those resources. To that end we provide programs, training and assistance to our clients to meet their individual needs. We do not provide legal services or opinions. We are not lawyers and do not profess to be so, we accept that the Board has the right to set policy on the basis of their interpretation of the Act and that until struck down by a court that that policy is lawful. We assist employers with applying the policy to their situation. Our current client list covers the following industries and employers :
What can an employer get from us that they cannot get from the Employers Adviser for free? The Employers Adviser is, by its nature, more reactive than pro-active, they do provide training seminars but they cannot provide the day to day long term service that we can. They have too many clients and not enough staff to meet their wide spread mandate, historically there has been a 2 to 1 ratio of Workers Advisers to Employers Advisers and every indication is that that ratio is increasing. The Employers Adviser must respond to every employer that requests assistance and that can spread the service very thin. We, on the other hand, see ourselves as an adjunct to that service responding only to our clients, providing the services that they need when they need them. Our associated, independent, consultants have backgrounds in industry and in the WCB. We provide services to employers exclusively and we do not act on behalf of workers unless expressly asked to do so by that worker's employer.
